We kept our news a secret from my parents until we could see them in person -- which happened to fall on the day we moved into our new house. To make for a fun suprise, Lindsey put signs on each of the bedroom doors: Jonathan & Lindsey's Room, The Office, Grandma & Grandpa's Room, Baby's Room (eta. 3.12.2007). When my parents walked up stairs my Dad headed straight for the baby's room. I think he understood, because I saw a smile on his face. Seconds later my Mom came across the sign. I think at first she thought the signs were left by the builder as a decoration -- but the 'eta' part gave it away.
